Fitch Even Partner Joseph Nabor Speaks at ISBA CLE Program

On October 17, 2012, Fitch Even partner Joseph T. Nabor was a featured speaker during a daylong CLE program on “What Every Lawyer Should Know About Intellectual Property,” presented by the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) Intellectual Property Section.

During the program, Mr. Nabor discussed the basics of trade secrets, including how to effectively advise clients on protecting trade secrets and managing confidential disclosures. Mr. Nabor also explained how to draft and evaluate confidentiality agreements, and he reviewed recent developments in trade secret law. 

Mr. Nabor, who oversees Fitch Even's Trademark and Copyright practice group, has served on the ISBA Intellectual Property Section Council for over 16 years. He is also a member of the ISBA Standing Committee on the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission.

Mr. Nabor has extensive experience in both domestic and international trademark prosecution and is a highly successful litigator. In addition, he regularly counsels clients on brand development strategies, including securing trademark rights throughout the world. Mr. Nabor also assists with the enforcement and protection of rights developed under the copyright laws of all international jurisdictions.
