Fitch Even partner Edward E. Clair will serve as guest lecturer at Marquette University on November 8, 2012, as part of a course on Intellectual Property Procurement and Management.
Mr. Clair will discuss trade secrets, covering such topics as identification of trade secrets, guidelines for harvesting and protecting pre- and post-trade secret development, the impact of handling intellectual property as a trade secret on other domestic and foreign intellectual property rights, and enforcement options should trade secrets be misappropriated.
The course is part of the Engineering Management Program, an interdisciplinary graduate program offered jointly by Marquette's College of Engineering and Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Clair's practice includes all aspects of domestic and foreign patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and unfair competition, including client counseling, licensing and other transactions, prosecution, litigation, and opinion work.
