Fitch Even Partner Steve Parmelee Presents Kootenai County Bar Association Program

On February 29, 2016, Fitch Even partner Steven G. Parmelee presented a CLE program on “Pro Bono Patent Applications” at a meeting of the Kootenai County Bar Association, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. During the program, Steve explained the multistep process for receiving pro bono legal assistance with patent applications in the state of Idaho, including a discussion of the various patent office fees involved. He also discussed the role of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in expanding and coordinating a pro bono program that now covers all 50 states.
Steve will be presenting a similar program on this topic to members of the Innovation Collective of Northern Idaho on April 6, 2016, also in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
