Fitch Even was proud to be a sponsor of the 122nd Annual Judges' Dinner hosted by the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) on November 18, 2016, at the Standard Club in Chicago. This long-running event is held each year in honor of the federal judiciary. This year’s keynote speaker and recipient of IPLAC’s Distinguished Judicial Service Award was the Honorable Rebecca Pallmeyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Fitch Even attorneys in attendance at the event included IPLAC Immediate Past President (and Vice Chair of the Judge’s Dinner Committee) Alisa C. Simmons, Joseph E. Shipley, and Karl R. Fink. Fitch Even hosted the Honorable Charles Clevert, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin at the firm’s table.
Founded in 1884, IPLAC is the oldest intellectual property law association in the United States. Fitch Even attorneys have been actively involved with IPLAC as leaders and members since its inaugural organizational meeting.
