Fitch Even Partner John Flannery Profiled in Chicago Daily Law Bulletin

February 28, 2011

Fitch Even name partner John F. Flannery is profiled in a front-page article in today's edition of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. In the article, "Pioneer Patent Lawyer Made History—Still At It At 82," Mr. Flannery recounts his work on a few notable cases he took on after becoming a full-time associate at the firm in 1959, including obtaining and enforcing the original patent for the first videotape recorder on behalf of then-client Ampex.

Not simply a nostalgic piece, the profile also highlights Mr. Flannery's strong work ethic and continuing enthusiasm for the practice of law. Fitch Even partners Karl F. Fink and Timothy P. Maloney added comments on their experiences working with Mr. Flannery, his role as a firm leader and mentor, and his ongoing service to current clients.
