Fitch, Even, Tabin & Flannery LLP is pleased to announce that Joseph H. Herron has been made an equity partner of the firm.
Joe joined Fitch Even’s Chicago office as an associate in 2011. With well over a decade of intellectual property experience, Joe counsels clients in complex patent prosecution, patent litigation, post-issuance matters, portfolio management, and opinion work, among other IP matters. He has represented large companies in the U.S. and abroad in diverse technologies including fuel cells and reformers, pharmaceuticals, polymers, medical devices, and food manufacturing processes and compositions.
Prior to beginning his legal career as a patent agent, Joe worked as a chemical engineer researching and designing fuel cell applications. He earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, graduating with high honors, and holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
